Much to my dismay this morning I woke up not my wifi not working. After a big sigh and some mutterings under my breath, I headed downstairs to reset the router. Still nothing. Decided to do some searching around online to see what i could come up with, turns out the major cable/Internet provider here (Midco) isn't just down here on base, or even city wide... they're out in South Dakota, North Dakota, and Minnesota. Pretty significant.
After a bit more research, I learned that it isn't just Midco that's affected, but Comcast, Cox, Time Warner, and a few others are having some pretty big outages all across the country. Intriguing stuff.
I'm no tech geek so i couldn't offer any theories or explanations, I'm just curious to see if any of you guys have had any issues where you're currently at.
