Virginia Tech basketball player Jarell Eddie has been charged with possession of marijuana, according to court records. The freshman reserve forward is due to appear in Montgomery County General District Court in Blacksburg on April 21.
Blacksburg police confirmed the charge but did not provide further details Sunday. The offense date was Tuesday, and Eddie was charged Wednesday. Eddie did play in Tech's win over Maryland on Tuesday night.
