Clemson firing Steele got me thinking

What was our problem against them? I'm no X and O guru but the pressure they applied seemed to be our downfall. They sold out against Wilson and attacked Logan but they had nowhere near that success against anybody else they played. This is a D that was embarrassed like no other D has been in the history of the bowls. Do you know how many bowls they've played all time?

Conversly by our standards at least the VT O was pretty damn good this year. I was confident (except against Clemson) that we could move the ball and score. 3000 yd passer and 1700 yd rusher is impressive but looked befuddled by a D that only looked like that against us.

My theory is that we were their Super Bowl. We're still the new kids on the block in the ACC and they watch us come in and just dominate so they were highly motivated.

Is that all there is to it? Did Dabo outcoach Frank? Did they matchup that well against us?

Either way the first game I'm looking for when the schedule comes out is at Death Valley.

revenge is sweet
