GREENSBORO, N.C. Sophomore wide receiver Kevin Asante is no longer a member of the Virginia Tech football team, two sources said Sunday.Asante, 6-foot, 184-pound wideout from Charlotte, N.C., played in 10 games last season, starting once. He caught two passes for 18 yards. He also returned one kickoff.
This is unexpected.
