In his inaugural season at Virginia Tech, Justin Fuente inherited three tremendous wide receivers with unique skillsets well suited for a pro-style offensive system. Isaiah Ford's tremendous body control and ball skills were routinely on display in Blacksburg. Bucky Hodges combination of size and speed produced mismatches across the field. The 6-6 Hodges was too big to be covered by corners, and linebackers tasked to account for him couldn't content with his 4.57 speed. Cam Phillips cranked out yards after the catch and moved the sticks on money downs.
