Honestly, not really sure I've seen something like this explode on the court since the Malice at the Palace. Just an ugly all around incident that apparently stemmed from the fact that the Wisconsin coach called a timeout with around 30 seconds left in a decisive win.
Anyway, the Big Ten issued a statement last night, singling Howard out for his actions

And its also of note that Howard has a history of this, having gotten into a scuffle with Maryland during their Big Ten Tournament game last year
