Update: Might as well give an update since its the OP of the thread. The Red Bull and Porsche deal fell through and the sale never went through. Porsche is still interested in partnering with a team, and has been rumored to have interest in Williams, but nothing concrete has come out. However, not all is lost for the VW group, as Audi has come to an agreement to be the provider for Sauber racing in 2026, who currently runs under the Alfa Romero brand despite not actually being Alfa.
