As of now, non-TKPC users do not have the ability to read comments, post comments, or start new threads. From a personal standpoint, this is not what I want TKP to be. As I said before, my personal preference is to keep the community aspects of the site open for all. However, I can't run a business on personal preferences. And I figured this was the best way to get everyone's attention who might not have seen (or even possibly ignored) the "Meta: Business as Usual" thread.
Please do me a favor and read that, then think about how much you used the site today ... last week. How long you have used the site for. Its value to you and others, and whether or not you would pay for these features if these changes were the new norm. If you would, then perhaps you are a person who should join TKPC. If enough of that happens, then there won't be a need for these changes to be permanent.
