QB Logan Thomas on NFL decision: "I've always told everybody that I'm planning on coming back. There's no change in that right now." #Hokies— Andy Bitter (@AndyBitterVT) October 27, 2012
Even though Logan's season has been rough, I still think he would have been somewhere between a 3rd-5th round draft pick. His size and arm strength are too great an upside for NFL scouts and GM's to overlook. He's shown well on film, albiet mostly last year. His stats this season aren't horrible, 1,910 yards, 13 TDs, 10 INTs, but up until now the sharpest he's look was the fourth quarter against Georgia Tech. There's still six games left, plenty of time to finish strong.
Obviously I'm happy he'll be back next season. Starting a rookie quarterback against Alabama next season projects like Glennon/Tyrod in Death Valley.
