Florida State Football Primer, Photo Edition

FLORIDA STATE. THURSDAY NIGHT. LANE STADIUM. WHO'S EXCITED?

The Seminoles march into Blacksburg ranked #10 in the nation, boasting the number three scoring offense, defense, and best total defense in the nation. STOP ME IF YOU'VE HEARD THIS BEFORE.

The 'Noles only blemish this season was a loss at NC State, where their potent offense was shut out the entire second half.

Dating back to the Hokies first season in the ACC (2004), Tech has scored 12 touchdowns against the Seminoles, approximately all by Danny Coale.

Florida State is in prime position for it's first conference title since 2005, and a REALLY REALLY REALLY LONG SHOT of making the title game if #BCSapocalypse unfolds like last season. All this uncertainty used to be foreign to fans in Tallahassee.

But Thursday Night in Lane is something special. If the Hokies somehow pull the upset, Nole fans should be comforted by the fact that basketball season and the RETURNING ACC CHAMPS are just around the corner!

Here's hoping this Tech team pulls out all the stops. Recently, there has been a lot of discussion about the character of this squad. Well, nothing puts those debates to rest like dominating a ranked opponent in the Terror Dome with the entire nation watching.
