Best Hokie Football Moment

Well, we've already dwelled over past heart-breakers, so what is your fondest memory of Tech Football?

Mine would be the Miami Home game, Fall 2009. There was a heavy rain all day long, but we came to play! Rookie QB Jacory Harris and the U were getting all the hype, ESPN saying "They Were Back." Bud Foster posted on all his defenders' lockers comparing VT's stats to other defenders, to get them pumped up. It worked. In a complete rout, the Hokie offense, defense, and special teams all clicked and punished Miami all game long. RMFW rushed for two TDs (and 150-yards total). And who could Matt Reidy's short TD-return off a blocked punt?

That game killed my first iPhone (now I use the unbreakable Motorola droids), but it was totally worth it! Jacory Harris would never get a win against us, and Randy Shannon only beat us once in his short time as Thug U's HC.

Sure the 2009 season brought us plenty of heartbreaks, but I will remember the best moments since it was my final season as an undergrad.
