Off-Season Questions: Walking Dead or Parks&Rec?

Before you think that I'm just going to ask you what your favorite TV show is, let me explain.

This past season would be an example of The Walking Dead. We seemed to just stumble and groan our way through each game like a pack of zombies. At times it looked as if there wasn't a concentrated effort from the majority of the players on the field. Although it seemed that we had a fearless leader (Logan Thomas) that could bring us out of the apocalypse and into the safety of another ACC Championship, instead he was erratic and flat-out baffling at times, completing passes to the wrong-colored uniforms. In this way, Logan Thomas was our Rick Grimes. If you don't watch the show or are in the process of watching it, sorry for that metaphorical semi-spoiler.

On the other hand, we could have a season in the mold of a show like Parks & Recreation, where we successfully build a beautiful park -- have a great season -- but not without some bumps along the way. When you look at it, it seems that this is the most likely of the two to happen in the coming year. The young talent that we have on both sides of the ball are now a year older and a year more experienced. We have put together one of the best recruiting classes in recent memory, some products of which may be seeing the field in the Fall. What we need to find this season is our Ron Swanson, someone who can build his legend out of hard work, no nonsense mentality, aggressiveness, and maybe some incredible facial hair.
