Four Auburn football players were arrested on misdemeanor marijuana charges Saturday night, according to police records.
espn story if you want to give them clicks
Sophomores Carlton Davis III, Byron Cowart, Jeremiah Dinson and Ryan Davis face second-degree misdemeanor marijuana-possession charges after being arrested by Auburn police at 11 p.m. on Saturday night.
Carlton Davis was expected to start in Auburn's secondary this coming season. He was named a freshman All-American in 2015
Cowart, from Seffner, Florida, was ranked the No. 1 prospect in the 2015 ESPN 300. 2nd year on campus
Dinson, a cornerback from Miami, played significantly in the first nine games as a freshman but had a knee injury last year and was out for the spring
Ryan Davis played in eight games as a freshman mostly on special teams.
I think this will be a good measuring stick to see how fast, harsh, or lenient coach will be with Adonis and housh. im sure that there are many other incidents
this is interesting.... the rules for B1G schools (this is in 2010 and may have changed but I would think if anything it would become more lenient as pot is more accepted now than it was then)
in 2014 before the national championship Oregon had 2 players players suspended for the game for "random failed drug test"
Suspensions to Oregon players bring NCAA marijuana policy into question
these players for us didn't fail a drug test but it will be curious to see how there punishment holds up against the players over at auburn.
