I am currently working with a Design/Build Interior Walls firm that is currently looking for a Project Manager for the DC Market and Richmond. Their physical location is in Columbia, MD area, but the Project Manager will mostly be in the field managing each project.

Here is a job description:
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience managing multiple projects where they are have been required to calculate measurements while managing a team of installers. An Architectural or Construction Management degree is highly desired.

- They geographically cover Philadelphia, Washington DC, Virginia, and North Carolina
- Types of projects include Government, Commercial, Co-Working, and Education
Responsibilities
- Keep crews motivated and on schedule
- Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed
- Communicate with project team and customers regarding ASI's, RFI's, and Material Submittals
- Assist in budgeting and financial management of projects
- Assist in obtaining permits or approval of revisions
- Gather project material submittals and maintain records of approvals at the job-site
- Take field measurements
- Manage and solve problems as they arise in the field
Requirements/Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing projects
- Architectural or Construction Management Degree is preferred
- Experience using Excel and managing spreadsheets
- Ability to read floor plans, base building, and interiors
- Ability to take and calculate measurements in the field
- Must be able to work independently and solve problems in the field as needed
- Ability to work as a team in a fast paced environment
Target Compensation
- $65,000 - $100,000
- Yearend discretionary bonus
- Medical & Dental
- Mileage reimbursement between sites
