It's a good read, slightly biased towards Clemson's interests, obviously.

The most interesting tidbit, "Many people would like to see Clemson and Florida St. split up, with Seminoles and Hurricanes in the same division. However, my source at the ACC says the two schools need to remain in separate divisions so that each ACC school will visit the state of Florida at least once every two years for recruiting purposes."

I like the idea of Louisville in the Coastal Division, but not a north–south / Big East–ACC Wolf Pac alignment. A Carolina and Georgia presence has proven itself valuable for our recruiting.

The Big Ten is introducing something called parity based scheduling for crossover games (http://espn.go.com/blog/bigten/post/_/id/75668/east-west-divisions-9-gam...).

"In the first 18 years, you're going to see a lot of competition between teams at the top of either division," Delany said. "We call that a bit of parity-based scheduling, so you'll see Wisconsin, Nebraska and Iowa playing a lot of competition against Penn State, Ohio State and Michigan. But it will rotate. Early on, we feel this gives the fans what they want."

That's an interesting concept that could help balance out stacked divisions (but not guarantee the most competitive ACC Championship Game), and provide more appealing TV matchups.
