From Rivals.com, they have ruffled a lot of feathers this morning (puns not intended) by saying that Tyrod was a scapegoat...
From the article:
Tyrod Taylor was a fan favorite one week and a scapegoat the next at Virginia Tech.
I'm not sure what the article is inferring, but I cannot recall Tyrod being lampooned by fans because he was dazzling since his insertion to relieve a befuddled Sean Glennon during the LSU's spanking of the Hokies. I still remember the look on Bobby Bowden's face when Tyrod turned a 3rd and 31 into a first down, bringing Lane Stadium shaking to its foundation.
I remember Tyrod finding wide open Danny Coale for first downs and a touchdown in a rout of Florida State in the ACCCG.
Yeah, the Orange Bowl blowout courtesy of Harbaugh's Stanford Cardinals didn't help the matter, but Tyrod left Virginia Tech setting all sort of records, and dare I say this, supplanting Micahel Vick.
