Bud Foster

I'm just like most VT fans in that I've always loved watching Bud Fosters defenses. They play football the way it's supposed to be played. And I obviously know that they always seem to be great, but I was just surfing the web today and found their defensive rankings over the last 13 years. I guess I never realized how good our scoring defense was statistically.

I know some people probably already have seen these numbers, but just looking at them again is mind-blowing. I don't know who's going to be the next OC for us, but if we do manage to hit a home run with it and win a title then Foster deserves a statue outside of Lane and the field should be changed to Worsham and Foster Field.
