That's just pathetic from what is supposed to be one of the big brands of this conference. Top 10 team going up against a conference opponent in "The South's Oldest Rivalry", in a nighttime showcase game in what is shaping up to be the very best season in UNC football for the past 30 years and your fans don't even show up?
Man, if you're the SEC or Big Ten watching this kind of stuff playing out on national tv, you have to be getting second thoughts about whether or not you REALLY want them in your conference. Oh sure, their basketball program is elite, but basketball ain't bringing in the money, and if the fans aren't going to show up for a self-proclaimed rivalry when you're sitting undefeated and in the Top 10 with their own fan sites absolutely shitting on how pathetic a look it was from top to bottom, why would you want that? Watching this shit, I 100% believe that NC State is a better add to either of those conferences than UNC. At least NC State cares.
And likewise, the exact same argument can be made in the Commonwealth as to why VT should absolutely be a higher priority than UVa.
