Hoover most recently was on staff at Kentucky. Has 30 years coaching experience and played at Wake Forest.
Coached at UMKC, ECU, VCU, JMU, Memphis, UVA, California, and Kentucky as an assistant.
Was head coach at High Point for a year and then ten years at Wake Forest until 2022. She is the winningest head coach in Wake history.
She posted a farewell message to Kentucky on the 18th.
